Yonex Astrox 88 D Play, badminton racket

Yonex ASTROX 88D Play belongs to Yonex's ASTROX series, which focuses on power generation through it's unique Rotational Generator System technology. The head-heavy racket has been precisely counterbalanced by placing counterweights along its shaft, making it easier to handle than your traditional head-heavy racket. The racket quickly recovers after being swung, making transitioning from stroke to stroke smoother.

Many ASTROX rackets come in two models, which are Dominate and Skill. In D-models, the upper part and the frame of the racket is especially flexible, giving your smashes ever steeper angles. The S-models focus on very even flexibility along the whole shaft and they're made a little shorter, which makes the racket more precise and faster to control without compromising power.

The ASTROX 88D Play model is designed after Yonex's high-end professional ASTROX 88D Pro racket. The main difference between these two rackets are the materials used in production.
